Information & Rules
Our competitions are open to both dance schools and secondary schools.
We have a panel of professional industry judges who will provide written feedback to the competitors and will score in presentation, technique, performance, choreography and musicality.
AGES
Mini 4 – 6 years
Pre - Junior 7 – 8 years
Junior 9 – 10 years
Pre - Intermediate 11 - 12 years
Intermediate 13 – 15 years
Senior 16 +
SECTIONS
Solos, Duos, Trio, and Groups
Routines are entered by the average age of the duos/trios/groups.
Groups will be split into different genres if there are enough entries.
The age of dancer is taken on the date of the competition, so please be aware of this on
your entry forms. Please note any birthdays of your dancers. If your dancers pull out of the competition and this affects the average age, leaders must
contact us to discuss as this may change their section.
Novice and Advanced Sections
We ask that teachers read our criteria on novice and advance dancers in our rules document. Our guidelines are to be used in determining the appropriate level placement of each competitor. It is left to the teachers' own sound judgement when entering level placement for their students as they have the full information and background on their experience.
Secondary Schools
We provide a unique opportunity for dancers at secondary schools to compete at the Championships in solos, duos/trios and groups. Schools are provided their own section, so they are competing against other secondary students in their age bracket.
Solos, Duos, Trios & Groups
We offer each school a maximum of 45 entries for solo/duet/trios per Competition.
This does not apply to group dances. There is no limit on group dances and schools may enter as many as they would like.
Please Note: Once the deadline has passed, we may be able to open up more space to all schools if available.
We must ensure a competition that is fair and rich with variety. Also, to ensure we have a range of dance schools present rather than just a few competing against themselves.

TIME LIMITS
Solos: 1 – 2 minutes
Duo/Trio: 2.30 minutes
Groups: 4 minutes
Times will be strictly monitored

Solos £16 per dancer
Duo/Trio £24/£36 (£12 per dancer)
Groups £8 per dancer
Secondary School Fees
This is a standalone section for dancers in Secondary Schools.
Solo £10.00 a dancer
Duet/Trio £6.00 a dancer
Groups £5.00 a dancer
